Motor Imports have been inspecting and buying cars in the UK for export worldwide since 1990. We have motor trade partners in Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Kenya, Malta and Cyprus and have inspected and purchased thousands of cars on behalf of dealers.
We are unique in our service as we have active experience dealing with import restrictions and purchasing cars that comply with import regulations in host markets.
We can inspect any vehicle for you anywhere in the UK. We can negotiate with the seller to get you the best deal on your terms and arrange transport to your shipping agent. We carry out full background checks on the car and seller before we proceed with a physical inspection.
Our background checks will reveal a cars original registration details, model designation and specification. We run a full HPI report on every car to make sure it is not on the register for being stolen,crashed or owing outstanding finance. Where possible we will check a cars entire MOT history with VOSA and will study the cars service history to make sure all maintenance work has been performed to schedule with no question marks.
Our physical checks will reveal any visible mechanical issues and previous crash repair damage as well as cosmetic refinishing. We have a 140 point checklist to make sure all options on a vehicle are working as stated. We perform underside testing for accident damage and corrosion. All rust is photographed and catalogued. Any parts of the vehicle requiring attention will be photographed and catalogued. We will provide an honest assessment of whether you should proceed with the purchase or if there are better vehicles to be found.
